Three of our foundation mares are grand daughters of Raygold Bill one of England’s most influential stallions. The sires are Cowerslane Concorde and Clarach Gay Aristocrat, both former champions and sires of champions. The dams pedigrees are lined with Ladbrook Aristocrat, Skelton Masterpiece, Rhyd-Y-Groes Premier King and Beomonds Mascot these stallions are some of the greats in the breed.
Our other mares are all either imported or English bred, most registered with the Shire Horse Society in England. For us a strong pedigree is just as significant as conformation and both are needed to produce astounding foals.

We also focus on style and type along with the key to why we have shires they must be athletic able to bend at the knee for hitch action and yet strong trot. Mares are all 17.2+ hands, no roaning, excessive white, large hooves, tall correct legs, short and correct backs, refined head and overall intelligent, bright horses – that’ll pass on these genetics.

New pictures coming this summer!
